History

Mr. Lubiengco Gaw or better known as "Domeng" was eighteen upon entering the the photo industry. From a photographer and a dreamer, he worked his way up from employment in prestigious companies like that of Esquire(Kodak) and Fuji towards becoming industrial partner of Oriental Photographics. On the side, with a golden heart, he helped friends to build-up the other big brands- Konika, Agfa and, Mitsubishi. The pride of serving Malacanang, the Philippine White House, has gained him accolades from the time of former President Diosdado Macapagal up to the next generation president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. He pioneered the one hour photo chemical industry with the campaign "We Print, While You Wait".

Being obsessed with photo quality, his standards shook his alliance with Oriental Photographics; however, come 1986 he gave birth to his masterpiece Golden Touch. With little energy and resources, he tried to cram his vision about the photo industry. Indeed, a man with a mission and vision.

Domeng

Eighteen year old, Anthony Gaw, known as Abong, Domeng's youngest son, helped his father with their livelihood way before Golden Touch was created. There, Domeng imparted to his son the 3 most important things he should learn and pursue... Value, Quality and Commitment.

As a young techincal guy, the road to acceptance was rough and unwilling. He wanted to pursue his profession as an engineer as fate comes to the rescue, the photo industry died to cocoon into large format printing. The chemicals were replaced with electronics - the core competence of the young Gaw. And so as they say, destiny has carved its way for the history of Golden Touch.

1996 when Golden Touch evolved from being a photo printer to an Imaging Specialist . It was not easy but the young Gaw expanded what his father had started. From there, the service that the company from Escolta Manila gradually grew, from one photo lab machine to now multiple state of the art printers. From then small picture printing to mega billboads now, GTIS has gradually earned international awards from Asian to Europian industry beyond the borders of Philippines.

PROJECT COLOSSUS

In 2006, the young Gaw thirst beyond business and money. A trophy project to be contributed for the industry was then the focus, so, Project Colossus was conceived. After two years of planning, designing, engineering, collaborations, finally on September 5, 2008 the project Building Wrap was honored as the "Largest Sticker Wrap in the World" by Guinness World Records. Measuring 47,000 square feet (200 feet high by 235 feet wide) that covered 3 sides of the 29 storey building. With much success, it earned us the title of "Building Wrappers". The award kindled the fire and became part of the company mission.

Just a year later, on April 2009, the company did it again and bagged another record with World Record Academy's "Largest Photo Mossaic". It measures 21,875 square feet (175 feet by 125 feet) consisting of more than a thousand photos of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

The projects that GTIS has been a part of doesn’t end there. The company executed a mission to promote Go Green, Save the Planet. With the blessings and might of brand leaders, Coca-Cola sponsored and spearheaded the campaign, thus the other leaders, WWF, graced the movement. The energy grind and hardwork resulted to the 2011 First - Ever Live Plant Billboard consisting of 3600 Green Fukien Tea pots, every pot is capable of absorbing 13 pounds of carbon dioxide per year. The following year, World’s 1st Tansan Billboard was created... and the story never stops.
